Recipes Wanted!

I’ve added another item to the column on the left hand side of my blog called “Featured Recipe.” The featured recipe posted right now is A “Better for You” Monkey Bread. I love monkey bread, so I was thrilled to find a recipe that was a little healthier than normal.

Also, I would love to post some of your favorite recipes and would be sure to give you the credit for them!!!! If you’d like me to post some of your recipes, just email them to me at kellicanfield@gmail.com. I look forward to posting (and trying) your recipes!!

Cost Savings in the Canfield Home

I recently signed up for a service that has proven to be one of our most valuable investments. I joined a website that researches sales at various grocery stores and reports in a list form what things are at their lowest price point. On top of that, the same list details exactly which coupons to add on top of the sale price–which adds up tp big savings! I’ve been able to get many items for under $0.50 a piece and have even been able to get quite a few items for free! The best part is that sometimes I can combine a sale price with a coupon and end up having the store pay me to take the item off the shelf!!! Last week I ended up getting $100 worth of groceries at Kroger for only $33! Here is the site if you would like to check it out:

You can sign up for a four-week trial which only costs a dollar. Believe me, it is well worth the dollar! If you decide to stay on and pay for the service afterward (which is relatively inexpensive especially considering how much time and money it saves), please add my email address as the one who referred you. It’s kellicanfield@gmail.com.

For those of you who are looking to cut some spending in your home–this is a great opportunity. You’ll still get the amount of food you need for your family and will cut your grocery bill in half!
